Image to Word OCR Converter

Image to Word OCR Converter is a character recognition application that uses optical character recognition technology to recognize text from images. It can save the recognized text to plaint text or Microsoft Word format.

Image to Word OCR Converter provides free trials of limited times. You can download and install it for free. Run the application after installation, you will see the main interface as shown in Figure 1.

The following words are descriptions for using the application to recognize text from a PNG image and save it to Microsoft Word.

Select File -> Open, to open a PNG image. You can also click button to open the PNG image. Then you will see the image previewed in the left part of interface.

Select Command -> OCR, then the application will start to recognize the characters in the PNG image. You can also click button to perform the operation. The recognized text will be output to the text box on the right side.

Before saving the recognized text to Word, you can select Format -> Font to edit the font, font size and font color of the text. You can also check spelling error by click button .

Then select File -> Save/Save As to save the edited text in the text box to Word. Clicking button can also save the text.

As shown in Figure 2, if you want to recognize the text in part of the page, you can press and move the mouse to drag a rectangle box to specify the area for the application. Then select File -> OCR and let the application recognize the text only in the given area.
