Download the installer of VeryPDF PDF Image Downsample Tool, install and run it. You will see the main interface as displayed in Figure 1. You can add those PDF files needed compressing by clicking button Add. Or you can drag the PDF files from your Windows Explorer and drop them into the File List. Buttons Remove and Remove All are for removing items in the file list. The application compresses the selected PDF files and generated new PDF files in smaller sizes. You have to select an Output Folder before compressing them.
Click Option and you come to the dialog of Option as shown in Figure 2. Check the option Image and it will enable the options in the right panel. For color, gray and monochrome images, you can select one of the three downsample types, Subsample, Average and Bicubic. Because the downsampled images are reconstructed, you should set a resolution for them in Downsample Resolution. Compress Mode provides methods to compress the images. After setting the downsample and compression options click Apply and return to the main interface. Continue to click the button Start, and your selected PDF files will be compressed and new smaller PDF files will be created.
