1.What is Image2PDF? 
A: Image2PDF is software to convert image files into Portable Document Format (PDF) files. 

2.Why should I use Image2PDF? 
A: If you have the need to convert legacy image files to PDF documents, Image2PDF is very likely a good solution. For almost any document imaging project, Image2PDF can be the tool to convert images to the Internet and print ready Portable Document Format. 

3.What systems support Image2PDF? 
A: Image2PDF can be used on all Windows systems, including Windows 95/98/ME/NT/2000/XP machines. 

4.Is other software required to use Image2PDF? 
A: No. Image2PDF is a complete standalone raster to PDF solution. 

5.What image formats are supported? 
A:  A variety of image formats are supported, mostly those that are used for document archival. Image2PDF supports image formats in black and white, 1, 2, 4, or 8 bit grayscale, and RGB, YCbCr, L*a*b*, or CMYK color images with 1, 2, 4, or 8 bits per color component. 

6.What PDF compression methods does it use? 
A: For black and white images, CCITTFaxDecode (Group Fax 4) is used. For lossy grayscale and color image data, DCTDecode (JPEG) is used. For lossless grayscale and color image data, FlateDecode (Zip) is used. 

7.How fast is it? 
A: Image2PDF outperforms most image to PDF conversion software. With many Group 4 images, conversion speed is up to a hundred pages per second, or tens of hundreds of thousands of pages per day. 

8.Is there an upper limit on the number of pages in the PDF? 
A: The PDF files can be created as large as the maximum PDF file size. 

9.Does Image2PDF do Optical Character Recognition (OCR)? 
A: You need purchase our Image2PDF OCR version, Image2PDF OCR software can convert your image files to searchable PDF file(s).

10.Can Image2PDF be used with the Internet? 
A: Yes, we'll provide the Image2PDF COM control, the COM control can be called from ASP and other languages. 

11.How can Image2PDF be used in high volume environments? 
A: The Image2PDF COM control can be rapidly built into the Visual Basic programming environment. The Image2PDF tool is designed for rapid conversion of groups of files for one-off conversions with an intuitive interface. The Image2PDF command line tool can be used in many batch or scripting environments. The Image2PDF C interface provides the highest speed native access to image conversion.

A: Start the DOS command line window (i.e. run "cmd" command from "Start Menu"->"Run"); then run the Img2PDF command from the command line window (Img2PDF software can be found in your Image2PDF command line uncompress directory) -- please refer to the following picture,

Image2PDF Command Line is used with the program name, options, and then a list of image files.
