I'm evaluating the Free Text 2 PDF software and I had a question on if the software will run on a 64 bit Windows 2008 server? The free download available runs only in the 32 bit mode. Is there a 64 bit version available? Looking forward to your quick response.
Free Text To PDF Converter does support 64bit system, you can install and run it on 64 bit Windows 2008 server system without any problem.
Thanks for the clarification. I downloaded the exe file from http://www.verypdf.com/txt2pdf/index.htm#dl and ran it on a 64 bit system, and I found it to be running in the 32 bit mode. I was able to figure it out because the txt2pdf.exe process in the Task Manager had a
* against it. This means that the application is running in the 32 bit mode. I also tried to invoke this application from a Web Application hosted in IIS 7.0 and running in 64 bit mode, but it also threw an error, while it worked when I ran the web application in 32 bit mode.
So, let me clarify my question. I know that the Text 2 PDF converter runs on a 64 bit machine, however, my question are "does it run in the
64 bit address space / is there is a 64 bit version of the application".
This is a very important criteria for us as we want to leverage the performance boost offered by the 64 bit operating system for our web application.
Also, our company has the license for the PDFCamp Printer software from you. Is the Text 2 PDF component part of this license?
Text 2 PDF converter is a 32bit EXE application, it is running at 32bit address space, it can'r at 64bit address space, please understand.
PDFCamp Printer software doesn't contain Text 2 PDF converter, Text 2 PDF converter and PDFcamp Printer are two different products.
