As the first step of converting AutoCAD to gif, you should run the printer driver by clicking “File”—“Plot” in the opened “dwg” file in AutoCAD. Method1. Click “File” and click “Save as” in dropdown list.

Method2. Click the icon image  in the toolbar.

Method3. Press the hot key “Ctrl”+ “S” combination.

Then the “Save As” dialog box will pop up and you should do the following operations.Please see Figure2.

1.Make sure the directory of the target file in “Save in” combo box.

2.Input the file name in “File name” edit box.

3.Choose the output format for the target file in “Save as type” combo box.

4.Click “Save” button to save the target file.

When the conversion is started, you should wait for a short while and you will see your target file in the location you have set.
