How to rotate the page while converting emf to pcx?

Step1.Run cmd.exe program

There are two ways to launch cmd.exe program.One way is to click “start”—“run” and input “cmd” in “open” edit box of the popup dialog box.Then click “OK” button.Please see Figure1 and Figure2.The other way is just using the hot key “Windows”+ “R” to open “Run” dialog box and do the same work as mentioned above.

After that,you will see cmd.exe dialog box where you can input your DOS commands.

Step2.Input command line

Someone doesn’t like command like due to the long and boring DOS commands.But if you have ever benefit from the command line once,you will love it.The command line contains called program which refers to htmltools.exe in the conversion of emf to pcx,parameters which you need to set,source file which you want to convert and target file which you want to get.There is a basic structure for you to follow:

htmltools.exe –rotate value “input.emf” output.pcx

htmltools.exe  stands for the called program.It is the executable file in the software HTML Converter Command Line,also the core of the software.

–rotate value  stands for the parameter about rotating page.

“input.emf”  stands for source file.

output.pcx  stands for target file.

"C:\Documents and Settings\admin\Local Settings\Temp\htmltools\htmltools.exe" -rotate 90 "C:\Program Files\docPrint Pro v5.0\blank.emf" blank.pcx

"C:\Documents and Settings\admin\Local Settings\Temp\htmltools\htmltools.exe"  is the path of htmltools.exe.You can drag the file from its folder to cmd.exe dialog box if you don’t want to input a long path.

-rotate 90  is the rotation angle of target file.You can set the value as 90,180 and 270.

"C:\Program Files\docPrint Pro v5.0\blank.emf"  is the source file.

blank.pcx  is the name of target file.

Step3.Find the target file.

If you didn’t set the path for target file,the file will be saved in current directory like the example in Figure2.Of course,you can also specify the directory for the target file yourself.
