1.To run cmd.exe program is the first step in the conversion of emf to pdf.

There are a regular and a quick way to run the program.

The regular way—You can click “start”—“run” and input “cmd” in “open” edit box of the popup dialog box.Then click “OK” button.

The quick way—You can use the hot key “Windows”+ “R” combination to open “Run” dialog in which you can input “cmd” and click “OK” button.This way is always taken by many people.

2.To input command line in cmd.exe prompt dialog box is the second step.

The command line is consisted of called program which is the executable file in HTML Converter Command Line,parameter which is the setting for rotating the page,source file which is the file in your computer needs to be converted and the target file which you want to get at last.You should type your command line in cmd.exe dialog box refer to the following one:

htmltools.exe -rotate<int> “input.emf” output.pdf

Here is a command line used in the conversion of emf to pdf applied to the one above:

"C:\Documents and Settings\admin\Local Settings\Temp\htmltools\htmltools.exe" -rotate 180 "C:\Documents and Settings\admin\Desktop\New Folder\test0001.emf" test.pdf

where

"C:\Documents and Settings\admin\Local Settings\Temp\htmltools\htmltools.exe"  is the path of htmltools.exe.To save your time,you can drag it into cmd.exe dialog box.

-rotate 180  is the rotation angle of the source emf file.You can set the value as 90,180 and 270.

"C:\Documents and Settings\admin\Desktop\New Folder\test0001.emf"  is the path of source file.You can drag the file which you want to call into cmd.exe dialog box directly and the file will turn to its path automatically.

test.pdf  is the name of target file,which includes file name and suffix.Please don’t ignore the suffix when you write the name.You can add the path of target file here to locate the target file in the location you like.

3.To find your target file is the last step.

You can find the target file in current directory or the specified location.
