How to set both the page width and height while converting htm to pdf?

Please see Figure1.It shows the whole process of converting htm to pdf file and set both width and height.This article will explain the process for you from each dialog box.

The first dialog shows the software,also the tool of the conversion htm to pdf.It is HTML Converter Command Line which is a powerful software to create previews or thumbnails of web pages in a number of different formats, such as TIF, TIFF, JPG, JPEG, GIF, PNG, BMP, PCX, TGA, JP2 (JPEG2000), PNM, etc. It also allows you to convert web pages to PDF, PS (postscript), WMF, EMF vector formats.You can download HTML Converter Command Line from the link https://www.verypdf.com/htmltools/htmltools.zip and unzip it to your computer when finish downloading.Then you can see an executable file framed by the pink rectangle in the dialog named “htmltools.exe”.It is the called program in the command line.You can read the main introduction about HTML Converter Command Line at the website https://www.verypdf.com/htmltools/index.html. The second dialog shows the command line about the conversion of htm to pdf.You should run cmd.exe program first by the hot key “Windows”+ “R” and input “cmd” in “open” edit box.Then you can input the command line which contains called program,parameters,source file and target file just like the following one.

htmltools.exe –width value –height value “www.verypdf.com” output.pdf

htmltools.exe  stands for the called program.

–width value –height value stands for the parameter.

“www.verypdf.com”  stands for source file.

output.pdf  stands for target file.

There is an example to interpret the command line above.It is also the commands in the second dialog in Figure1.

"C:\Documents and Settings\admin\Local Settings\Temp\htmltools\htmltools.exe" -width 30 -height 40 "www.verypdf.com" "C:\Documents and Settings\admin\Desktop\New Folder\verypdf.pdf"

"C:\Documents and Settings\admin\Local Settings\Temp\htmltools\htmltools.exe"  is the path of htmltools.exe.Someone don’t want to input a so long path into cmd.exe dialog box because it will make mistake easily.You can drag the file into the dialog directly.

-width 30 -height 40 is the value of width and height which you can set yourself.

"www.verypdf.com"   is the URL of some webpage.

"C:\Documents and Settings\admin\Desktop\New Folder\verypdf.pdf"  is the directory and name of target file.

NOTE:If you don’t specify the directory for target file,it will be saved in current directory.

The third dialog shows the location of new created pdf file which is framed by the rectangle.
