Please download HTML Converter Command Line at http://www.verypdf.com/htmltools/htmltools.zip. You will find the software is a zip file and you need to unzip it to use.There will be an executable file coming out named htmltools.exe which plays an important role in the conversion of htm to pdf.
The right converting way
Step1.Run cmd.exe program
Please see Figure1 and Figure2.Just click start menu and click “run” .Then input “cmd” in “open” edit box and click “OK” button.
Step2.Input command line
The command line is very easy to operate and master,which only contain called program,parameter,source file and target file.Please see Figure3.
The whole commands are "C:\Documents and Settings\admin\Local Settings\Temp\htmltools\htmltools.exe" -width 15 "www.verypdf.com" verypdf.pdf
It refers to the the command line structure as the below one:
htmltools.exe –width value “www.verypdf.com” output.pdf
htmltools.exe stands for the called program in the conversion of htm to pdf.If you want to use it,you can drag the file from its folder to cmd.exe dialog box to avoid the situation that you input a wrong file path by mistake.
–width value is the value of page width of pdf file.
“www.verypdf.com” can be seen as source file.When you run the conversion,htmltools.exe will download the information from the webpage and convert them to pdf file.
output.pdf stands for target file.If you don’t specify the directory of the target file,it will be saved in current directory by default.
Step3.Find the target file
You can find the pdf file in your computer,please see Figure4.Just browse it with some reader such as Adobe PDF Reader.
