The first step—Run the printer driver
If docPrint is the default printer on your computer, you just need to find the word document and right click on it to choose “Print” option, which can run docPrint directly. If not, you should open the word document and click “File”—“Print” to open “Print” dialog box. In “Name” combo box, you should choose “docPrint” as current printer. Then click “OK” button to continue the work.
The second step—Open “Save As” dialog box
You will see the dialog box named “docPrint” showed in Figure1 comes out and you have several ways to open “Save As” dialog box in it. You can click “File” and select “Print” in dropdown list. You can also click the “Save file” icon that looks as a floppy disk in the toolbar. Or you can press “Ctrl”+ “S” on your keyboard at the same time.
The third step—Save the target file
Please see Figure2, you can see a dialog box titled “Save As” which allows you to finish the whole conversion process via the following operations. First, you should specify the location for the target file in “Save in” combo box. Then edit a name in “File name” edit box. You should choose the output format for the target file in “Save as type” combo box. At last, you can click “Save” button to run the conversion of doc to wmf.
