Please download Document Converter and then install it on your computer. After that, you can find the command line application, which is named doc2pdf.exe, in the installation directory. And this executable file is the tool we are going to use. To convert PowerPoint to fax by command line, please do as follows:

1. Open the command prompt interface

To use a command line application, you can’t just open it by clicking its icon like opening a GUI application. Instead, you need to call the command line application by typing a command line. This is why you need to open the command prompt interface at first. If you are a Window XP, you can do as follows to open the command prompt interface:

  • Open up the Start menu by clicking Start on the left side of the task bar.
  • Point to All Programs.
  • Point to Accessories.
  • Click Command Prompt.

2. Type a command line and press Enter

The second step is to type a command line in the command prompt interface, on the basis of the usage of the executable file doc2pdf.exe. Please take a look at the usage, related option, and some examples before you type a command line.

Usage: doc2pdf [options] <-i Document Files> [-o Output]
