Convert XLS to PCX via command line

If I were you, I would use VeryPDF Document Converter (docPrint Pro) to convert XLS to PCX via command line. I mean the command line version of VeryPDF Document Converter.

VeryPDF Document Converter is also called docPrint Pro, and it is an all-to-all application. You can use it to convert any printable file to any common image file, set color depth, resolution, passwords, etc. In addition, it provides a GUI version and a command line version. However, this article will only focus on the command line application.

Using VeryPDF Document Converter to convert XLS to PCX via command line will only take three steps. First, you should download VeryPDF Document Converter, and install it on the computer. It can be used free for 50 times.

Second, you should open the command prompt window. Supposing you are in Windows XP, please do as follows: open the Start menu by clicking Start on the left down corner of the screen, > select Run on the Start menu to open the Run dialog box, > type cmd in the Run dialog box, > press Enter. Then, the command prompt window will pop out.

Third, you should type a command line and press Enter. The executable file is named doc2pdf.exe and it is located in the installation directory. If you want to view the basic usage of it, please type the directory of it in the command prompt window like "C:\docPrint Pro v5.0\doc2pdf.exe" (with quotation marks) and press Enter. Or you can just take a look at the usage repeated as follows:

doc2pdf [options] <-i Document Files> [-o Output]

The example below can be used to convert a single file from XLS to PCX. In the example, the path name of the executable file is enclosed by quotation marks. This is because there are spaces between some words.

"C:\docPrint Pro v5.0\doc2pdf.exe" -i C:\in.xls -o D:\out.pcx

If you want to convert documents in batch, you can use the wildcard *, as in "C:\docPrint Pro v5.0\doc2pdf.exe" -i C:\*.xls -o D:\*.pcx. Don’t forget to press Enter after typing a command line.

This is the method I use to convert XLS to PCX via command line. Do you think it is helpful? If you want to learn more about VeryPDF Document Converter, please visit the following website: https://www.verypdf.com/wordpress/category/docprint-pro
