Print multiple pages on one paper sheet

If you need to print documents everyday, you may want to save paper or ink for saving money. There is a virtual printer application which can be used to print multiple pages on one sheet or scale the paper size. You can also use it as a document converter to convert any printable documents to image formats. The name of the virtual printer is docPrint.

docPrint is one internal application of Document Converter which is a professional document converter for converting any printable documents to image formats. Two other internal applications are GUI application, command line application. They are all designed for different purposes. For example, you can use GUI application to make batch conversion because it is good at batch conversion. If you are a software developer, you may need to use the command line application to develop the software.

To print multiple pages on one sheet smoothly by using docPrint, you should download Document Converter at https://www.verypdf.com/artprint/docprint_pro_setup.exe and please install it on your computer. docPrint will appear in the printer list. To launch it, you just need to print the document to docPrint.

Please open the document you want to print and click “File”—“Print” to open “Print” dialog box in which you are able to choose docPrint as your printer in “Printer” combo box. Then please click on “Print” button. To open “Print” dialog box, you can also use the hot key “Ctrl”+ “P”. If you have set docPrint as the default printer, please right click the document and choose “Print” option to run docPrint directly.

In the popup docPrint main window, please see the buttons framed in the toolbar which are used to combine multiple pages in one sheet.

For example, you can click the button image  to print two pages on one sheet, click the button image to print four pages on one sheet. Of course, you can also click 6, 8 or 16 pages on one single sheet. To print multiple pages on one paper sheet, you can also use the “n-UP on startup” combo box in “Option Settings” dialog box. You can also choose how pages you want to print on one sheet.

Then you should save the target file. You can click “File”—“Print” or click the “Save File” button in the toolbar to open “Save As” dialog box. For the same purpose, you can also use the hot key “Ctrl”+ “S” to open the “Save As” dialog box. In “Save in” combo box, you can choose the location for the target file. In “File name” edit box, you are able to input the name for the target file. In “Save as type” combo box, please specify the output format for the target file and then please click on “Save” button to save all the changes.

About several seconds later, you will be able to get the target file in the specified location. You can check the target file on your computer.
