Convert documents of RTF to EPS file by command line

EPS files are often used as a standard means for transferring image data between different operating systems. The first step—Open MS-DOS prompt window.

You should open the conversion platform—MS-DOS prompt window at first. Please click “Start”—“Run” to open “Run” dialog box in which you can input “cmd” or “CMD” in “Open” combo box. Then please click on “OK” button. If you want to use some other way to open “Run” dialog box, you can press “Window”+ “R” on the keyboard at the same time.

The second step—Input command line.

In the popup MS-DOS prompt window, you are able to input the command line for converting the document of rtf to eps. The command line consists of three necessary parts: called program, source file and target file which make up the following sample:

doc2pdf –i C:\application.rtf –o C:\application.eps

The path of each element must be used when you input the command line just like the following example:

"C:\Program Files\docPrint Pro v5.0\doc2pdf.exe" -i "D:\My Documents\application.rtf” –o D:\application.eps

Where

"C:\Program Files\docPrint Pro v5.0\doc2pdf.exe" is the path of doc2pdf.exe. If you don’t want to use input the long path into the command line window, you can drag the file into the window directly.

-i "D:\My Documents\application.rtf” is the path of input file.

–o D:\application.eps is the path of output file.

The last step—Run the conversion

Please click “Enter” button on the keyboard to run the conversion from the document of rtf to eps. You just need to wait for several seconds until the conversion is over.
