Convert documents of RTF to PCX by command line

If you are being puzzled by the problem of converting document of rtf to pcx format file, please don’t worry. You can just use the command line application doc2pdf.exe to help you resolve this problem because you just need to input some easy commands into the conversion platform—MS DOS prompt window.

The command line application can be used to convert any printable documents to image formats within three steps and it also able to set parameters to the target file. To use doc2pdf.exe, you can download it at https://www.verypdf.com/artprint/docprint_pro_setup.exe to use the free trial version. After the installation, you can see the executable file in installation package. It is usable and then you can use it to convert rtf to pcx.

Firstly, please use the hot key “Window”+ “R” or click “Start”—“Run” to open “Run” dialog box in which you can input “cmd” in “Open”  combo box and click “OK” button to open MS-DOS prompt window.

Secondly, you need to input the command line into MS-DOS prompt window. The command line is made up of called program, source file and target file. The called program is the leading role in this article—doc2pdf.exe, the source file is the RTF document you want to convert and the target file is the PCX format file you want to get.

Please see the following command line application in which all the elements has been changed as their file paths.

"C:\Program Files\docPrint Pro v5.0\doc2pdf.exe" -i "D:\My Documents\In-file.rtf" -o D:\Out-file.pcx

For you convenience when you write the command line, you can drag the file you need into MS-DOS prompt window to obtain the file path instead of inputting the path word by word.

Then please click “Enter” button to start the conversion from rtf to pcx. Then you can see your target file in the specified location when the conversion is over.

There are also two other applications of Document Converter: GUI application which is good at batch conversion and virtual printer application which is a good tool to save paper and ink. You can use any one of these three applications according to your needs.
