Convert documents of RTF to PDF and combine PDF by command line

There are only three steps to fulfill the conversion from rtf to pdf and you just need to see the following contents to learn about it.

The first step is to open MS-DOS interface for inputting the command line into it. You can use the hot key “Window”+ “R” combination to open “Run” dialog box and input “cmd” in “Open” combo box. Then please click “OK” button. Then you will see the popup MS-DOS interface. You can also click “Start”—“Run” to open “Run” dialog box.

The second step is to input the command line. The command line is made up of four parts: called program which is the executable file doc2pdf.exe, parameter which is for combining pdf document, source file which is the RTF document you want to convert and the target file which is the output PDF document. You can refer to the following example to write your own command line:

doc2pdf –p 1 –i D:\in.rtf –o D:\out.pdf

In the command line,

doc2pdf stands for the called program. You need to input the path of the program in the command line.

–p 1 means inserting new created PDF document before first page if PDF file exists. The number can also be changes as “2” which means appending new PDF document to last page if PDF file exists.

–i D:\in.rtf specifies the path of source file.

–o D:\out.pdf indicates the name of the target file.

The last step is to run the conversion from rtf to pdf by clicking “Enter” button.
