Convert documents of RTF to PDF and set PDF subject by command line

When you create a PDF document, you may want to specify the description for the PDF document. When you convert the document of rtf to pdf and want to set pdf subject for output pdf document, you can use the command line application of Document Converter.

So you need to open MS-DOS interface before the conversion. There are two offered way for you to open MS-DOS interface. Then please input the command line in MS-DOS interface. The command line is made up of called program, parameter for setting pdf subject, source file and target file. Please see the following template:

doc2pdf –j “subject” –i D:\11.rtf –o D:\11.pdf

For applying the template better, you’d better see the following example:

"C:\Program Files\docPrint Pro v5.0\doc2pdf.exe" –j “subject” –i “D:\My Documents\11.rtf” –o “D:\My Documents\11.pdf”

In the command line,

"C:\Program Files\docPrint Pro v5.0\doc2pdf.exe" is the path of doc2pdf.exe. For getting the file path, you can drag the file you need into MS-DOS interface directly.

–j “subject” is to set pdf subject as “subject”.

–i “D:\My Documents\11.rtf” means the path of source file.

–o “D:\My Documents\11.pdf” stands for the path of target file.

To finish the conversion from rtf to pdf, please click “Enter” button. If you want to see the target file after the conversion, please find it in the specified location.
