Edit PDF keywords with PDF Editor

Please open the application via double clicking the application icon if you can find it or right clicking the icon and choosing “Open” option in popup dropdown list. If you cannot find the application icon, please click “Start”—“All Programs”—“VeryPDF PDF Editor v2.6”—“VeryPDF PDF Editor” to find the application from all installed programs and open it.

Please click “File” in menu area and click “Open” in dropdown list. A dialog box named as “Open” will pop up and please select the PDF document from your computer and click “OK” button to add it to PDF Editor. There are also two other methods to open this dialog box: (1) Click “Open” button in toolbar area. (2) Press “Ctrl”+ “O” combination on the keyboard.

Next procedure is to edit PDF keywords. Please click “File”—“Document Properties” or use the hot key “Ctrl”+ “D” to open “Document Properties” dialog box in which you are able to see and edit PDF descriptions such as created date and time, modified date and time, file size, path,etc. In several text boxes above, you can also edit PDF keywords, title, subject, etc. Please see the dialog box in Figure 1. Input the keywords you want to edit and click “OK” button to close the current dialog box.

The current dialog box will return back to user interface of PDF Editor. Just click “Save” button which is available only when you make changes to source file in toolbar area. Please click “File”—“Save as” or use the hot key “Shift”+ “Ctrl”+ “S” to open “Save as” dialog box in which you can choose the location, input the name, select output format for creating output PDF document. Then click “Save” button to create a new PDF document.

So far all the operations have been done and you will get a new PDF document with new PDF keywords in the specified location.
