A method to read text of screen snapshot

This article would like to show you a method to read text of screen snapshot with VeryPDF Screen OCR on computers of Windows systems, which is one application on our official website of verypdf.

Here is GUI interface of VeryPDF Screen OCR, where you can see there are 3 tool buttons, a dropdown list of “Language” and an edit box of setting hotkey to capture screen. Then, you can set hotkey for capturing screen in its edit box, then you can use this hotkey or click “capture” on GUI interface to start to capture screen. So there is a colorful arrow key appearing on screen, which you need to click and drag an area on screen so that between four pop buttons on screen, please click “save to file” if you want to save this screen snapshot; please click “OCR” if you want to OCR this image with OCR technology.

Then, a window named “OCR Result” can be opened on screen automatically, where text of screen snapshot can be extracted from image in the blank panel. If you want to save it in TXT format into default folder, please click “File” > select “save text”; if you want to save this text in another folder, please click “File” > select “save text as” > choose one folder and click “save” in pop dialog box, so your text file can be saved successfully, in another word, it is successful to read text of screen snapshot.
