In this article, you will see how to use the application PDF Editor to add pdf text. The application you will use is a professional one which can edit the contents, comments for the inputted pdf document or add different kinds of element such as text, comment, hyperlink, draws into the pdf document.
For using PDF Editor, you need to download it at https://www.verypdf.com/pdf-editor/pdfeditor_setup.exe which only supplies the free trial version. After experiencing, if you are interested in the application, you can buy it at its homepage: https://www.verypdf.com/app/pdf-editor/index.html.
After installing PDF Editor on your computer, you will be able to use it. The first thing you need to do is to open the application. If you have create a desktop icon, you can directly double click the icon or right click the icon and choose “Open” option in the dropdown list. You can also click “Start”—“All Programs”—“VeryPDF PDF Editor v2.60”—“VeryPDF PDF Editor” to open the application.
The main interface of PDF Editor will come out and you can add the PDF document which needs to be edited into PDF Editor. You can click “File”—“Open” or click “Open” button in the toolbar to open “Open” dialog box. In this dialog box, you are able to choose the PDF document you need. For opening the same dialog box, you can also take the keyboard shortcuts “Ctrl”+ “O” to help you.
Just add the pdf text after you adding pdf document. Please click “Edit Comment” or click “Tools”—“Edit Comment” to open comment status. Then you need to click “Add Textbox” button in comment toolbar or click “Tools”—“Comment”—“Textbox”. You will see the mouse cursor turns cross-shaped at once. Please press and hold the left button of your mouse and drag a rectangle area by moving your mouse according to your needs. You can input the text in the rectangle by double clicking its area. If you want to edit the textbox, please right click it and choose “Properties” option in popup floating item. There are many kinds of parameters in “Properties” dialog box such as bolder style, thickness, bolder color, fill color, text color, font size, etc. If you want to know the specific introductions for each parameters, please read the user manual of PDF Editor at https://www.verypdf.com/pdf-editor/pdf-editor/index.htm.
After editing the pdf text, please click “Close” button to close this dialog box and it will return back to the main window of PDF Editor. For saving the changes you have made, please click “Save” button in the toolbar or click “File”—“Save”.
You also need to create a new PDF document by clicking “File”—“Save as” to open “Save as” dialog box. In this dialog box, you can specify the output location in “Save in” dropdown list, input the new name in “File name” edit box. Then please click “Save” button to create the new PDF document.
