Comment PDF document

There are four steps for commenting PDF document in the following contents. The first step is to open PDF Editor. There are three given methods for opening PDF Editor and you can refer to any one of them below.

  1. If there is a desktop icon of PDF Editor, just double click it.
  2. Right click the desktop icon and click “Open” option in dropdown list.
  3. Click “Start”—“All Programs”—“VeryPDF PDF Editor v2.6”—“VeryPDF PDF Editor”.

You will see the main interface of PDF Editor on your screen and please go on to do the next step. You need to open the PDF document in PDF Editor. The following ways are given for your reference.

  1. Click “File”—“Open” to open “Open” dialog box in which you can choose the PDF document to be edited.
  2. Click “Open” button in the toolbar to open “Open” dialog box.
  3. Press “Ctrl”+ “O” combination on the keyboard to open the same dialog box.

The third step is to comment PDF document. There different kinds of commenting tools such as textbox, stamp, note, pencil. For example, we choose to add note. Please click “Tools”—“Edit Comment” or click “Edit Comment” button in the toolbar to activate the comment status. Then click “Add Note” button in comment toolbar or click “Tools”—“Comment”—“Add Note”. Then a note icon will appear in the default position in document pane of PDF Editor. Please see it in Figure 1.

When you double click the note icon, a commenting window will pop up and you can input and you can comment PDF in it. When finishing, please close this window. If you want to edit the note icon, you can right click it and in the popup floating item, you can choose to cut, delete, copy, etc. the icon or you can click “Properties” option to open “Properties” dialog box in which you can set the appearance for the note icon.

The last step is to save the comments you have add by clicking “Save” button in the toolbar or click “File”—“Save” button. You need to create a new PDF document with the new added PDF comment. Please click “File”—“Save as” to open “Save as” dialog box in which you can specify the location for the PDF document and name it.

When you click “OK” button in “Save as” dialog box, all the operations come to the end and you have succeeded in commenting PDF document.
