For running Screen OCR, please double click the application icon or open it through the Start menu and you will see a small and smart dialog box appear on your screen just like the one shown in Figure 1. In Language dropdown list, you will see all supported languages that the program are able to recognize. If you cannot find the language you need, please click more in the list to download the OCR language package online and there are multiple language packages for you to download.
Then please click Capture button toaccording to your needs. As long as you click on Capture button, the computer screen will be frozen and then you need to click left button of the mouse and drag the mouse to draw a rectangle with which you can select the characters that you want to recognize. Then you can do the last thing: to save the recognized characters are TXT document. Please click File—Save Text or click the button to save characters as TXT document in the default output directory. Or you can click File—Save Text as or click the button to save characters as TXT in a specified location set by yourself.
