The application VeryPDF PDF Size Splitter allows to split PDF document by size if you have a multipage or big size PDF document which need to be split into small pieces or sizes. PDF Size Splitter is a desktop application which is Windows system oriented and you can click the following button to free download the application to your computer.
Please double click the installer and follow the setup wizard to install PDF Size Splitter. In the interface of it, there is a file list. In order to add PDF document into it, please click Add button to open file picker and choose PDF document that you want to split. Or you can batch add PDF documents via clicking Add Directory button which supports to add PDF documents of the same directory.
In Split by file size dropdown list, you can choose the file size for splitting PDF document. There are several offers like 100k, 512k, 1000k, 1M, etc. If the given options can not meet your requirement, please choose Custom option in this dropdown list to activate the edit box beside and then you can customize the split file size by inputting the value in it.
In Output Directory group box, there are two options for defining the location for created PDF documents.
- Check Original Directory option and the created PDF documents will be automatically saved in the location the same with source file.
- Check Alternative Directory option and you can click Browse button to choose a new output location for created PDF document.
Click Begin Split button and the Options window will come out. If you don’t need to set any parameters for the created PDF documents, please directly click OK button and then click Begin Split button again in the interface of PDF Size Splitter. Then the application will start to split the PDF document itself. Please see the whole process in the following snapshot:
