I read the description of your products but I'm still not 100% which product I need.
I'm looking for a PDF Viewer SDK which full fills the following requirements:
- View PDF files;
- End-user must be able to select text in the viewer;
- End-user must be able to search for text in the viewer;
- End-user must be able to add comments (annotations);
- API function to get selected text;
- API function to get meta-data about selected text, like:
- page
- chapter/paragraph (> bookmark)
- the selected region/area on the page (> start of selection, length or end of selection)
- API to get information about the structure of PDFs (pages, bookmarks);
- API to navigate to pages, bookmarks and specific positions/region on a page;
- API to select/highlight text;
- API to change background colour of selected text:
- temporarily, only on screen
- Nice to have: save/store background colour in the PDF
- API to search for text;
- API to read comments (annotations);
- API to create comments (annotations);
- Must work in WinForms;
