I can not run PDF Extract TIFF COM Server License

Guys

I’ve just purchased and installed PDF Extract TIFF COM Server License however when I run the command line I get the following error:

Comment ‘COMDLG32.OCX’ or one of its dependencies not correctly registered: a file is missing or invalid

What am I doing wrong?

Because pdf2tifvb6.exe is a VB6 example project, you need install VB6 runtime libraries to run it.

However, you can also test the test.exe and test2.exe applications, these applications are VC++ examples, they needn’t VB6 runtime libraries, you can run them to test the PDF Extract TIFF COM Server License.

pdfprint documents with different pagesizes

Hello,

We have been using VeryPDF PDFPrint Command Line for some time.

Recently we have had some documents that contain both A4 and A3. If we print it using the pdfprint command the whole document is printed on A3 or the whole document is printed on A4, instead of printing the individual pages on their own pagesize. We want to have a print containing both A3 and A4 paper. (The documents do print correctly when using acrobat reader using auto settings) I have tried using the "-paper pdf" option and the "- chgbin" with the auto selection bin, but i cannot get it working.

I have added two test pdf's containing both A4 and A3.

Can you help us with this problem?
=========================
Thanks for your message, yes, the current version of PDFPrint Command Line does print entire PDF document at same paper size, it can print your PDF file to A4 paper size or A3 paper size, but it can't print A3 and A4 pages in one print job, if you print your PDF file to A4 paper size, all non-A4 paper will be scaled to fit A4 paper size automatically.

We are planning support mix different paper size into one print job in the future releases of PDFPrint Command Line application, we will let you know after this feature is available.

Will your pdfprint command line support A3 and A4 paper size together?

Hello,

I am testing your product "PDFPrint v2.5" before purchasing it. My aim is to print PDF documents of different sizes (from A4 to A0) on a Xerox Wide Format Print System (can print from A4 to A0 ducuments), and to add a watermark on the hedge of the drawing.

OS : Win7 32bits

I've  met 2 problems with this command line :
pdfprint.exe -paper pdf -scalex -1 -scaley -1 -pdforient 4 -printermargins -wtext "watermark PF06039A" -wh 72  -wtype 2 -wo 100 -wa 0 "%CD%\04-PF06039A.PDF"

Problem #1 : the option <-paper pdf>  does not work, the paper used is the default one (A4)
I've tried it on differents size of pdf documents (A3 and A1)
with the option <-debug> : it shows the pdf doc size (eg :4200 x 2970 mm)
with the option <-prompt> : I can change the paper size

Problem #2 : the watermark is partly located in the printer's margins, in such a way that it is not fully printed
I have this problem with the 2 differents printers I've tried.
I have the same problem with the option <-wtype 1>
I tried the options <-wx 1000 -wy 500> and <-wx 1000 -wy -500>, it solves the problem on the x axis, but not on the y axis.

Thank you for your help

sincerely

>>Problem #1

You may run following command line to print your PDF file at A3 paper size,

pdfprint.exe -paper 8 -scalex -1 -scaley -1 -pdforient 4 -printermargins -wtext "watermark PF06039A" -wh 72  -wtype 2 -wo 100 -wa 0 "%CD%\04-PF06039A.PDF"

"-paper 8" is A3 paper, if you wish use A1 paper, the parameter should be "-paper 841x594mm", you can run following command line to print your PDF file at A1 paper,

pdfprint.exe -paper "841x594mm" -scalex -1 -scaley -1 -pdforient 4 -printermargins -wtext "watermark PF06039A" -wh 72  -wtype 2 -wo 100 -wa 0 "%CD%\04-PF06039A.PDF"

if you still can't get them work, please email to us your sample PDF file for checking, after we checked your sample PDF file, we will figure out a solution to you asap.

>>Problem #2 : the watermark is partly located in the printer's margins, in such a way that it is not fully printed

Can you please email to us your sample PDF file for checking? After we checked your sample PDF file, we will figure out a solution to you asap.

=============================
Hello
thank you for your quick answer.

Problem #1:

pdfprint.exe -paper 8 -scalex -1 -scaley -1 -pdforient 4 -printermargins -wtext "watermark PF06039A" -wh 72  -wtype 2 -wo 100 -wa 0 "%CD%\04-PF06039A.PDF"

it works fine (print a A3 pdf doc on a A3 paper format)

pdfprint.exe -paper "841x594mm" -scalex -1 -scaley -1 -pdforient 4 -printermargins -wtext "watermark PF06039A" -wh 72  -wtype 2 -wo 100 -wa 0 "%CD%\04-PA03755E-a.PDF"

it prints on a A4 format paper instead of A1 (the pdf doc is A1).

Any way, my aim is to print files by batch : I have an app (vba) generating the command line, but the app doesn't analyse the format of the pdf document. So the option  <-paper pdf>would be very handy.

Problem #2:

please find attached the documents I try.

04-PA03755E-a : A1 format (raster)
04-PF06039A : A3 format (vector graphics)

the scan.pdf file is the result of this command line:

pdfprint.exe -paper 8 -scalex -1 -scaley -1 -pdforient 4 -printermargins -wtext "watermark PF06039A" -wh 72  -wtype 2 -wo 100 -wa 0 "%CD%\04-PF06039A.PDF"

it shows the problem with the watermark partly printed in the margins.
I have the same result on any size of paper, with both pdf files.

Thank you about your help.

docprint pro

Using docprint pro to convert a pdf to bmp file

Dear Support

I am having problems converting certain pdf’s into BMP’s.

I am on docprint pro v4 but have also tried v5.

The attached pdf is one that will not convert into a bmp.

I have tried both command line and direct use of the docprint pro software

The command line I used is
"C:\Program Files (x86)\docPrint Pro v5.0\doc2pdf.exe" -i q:\plots\198\198936.pdf -o "q:\plots\BMP\198936.BMP" -G -b 1 -r 100 -R 270

The result code I get is

Q:\Plots\198\198936.PDF ==> C:\Users\rich.SRE\Desktop\198936.bmp, Result Code = 0 Conversion time = 0.70s (702ms)

Regards
IT Manager

P.S If we already have v4 what is the cost for an upgrade to docprint pro v5

I have tried PDF2img.exe and it creates the BMP but I cannot see how to rotate the image during conversion?

image to pdf converter

The trial message box in Image2PDF Command Line does block the ASP

We are in the process of upgrading our servers.

We’re trying to run image2pdf using Coldfusion’s CFX_exec tag on IIS7, Windows 2008.  (We successfully have it running on IIS6.0, Windows 2003.)

We have registered via command line, but IIS is hanging as if it’s prompting for the registration.

Do we need to purchase a 2nd copy for our new server (which will replace the server image2PDF is currently running on)?

Thank you.
============================
Thanks for your message, yes, when you call img2pdf.exe from IIS server, the trial message box will block the IIS application, after you purchased img2pdf.exe software, this trial message box will be removed, then you can call img2pdf.exe from your ASP or PHP or other applications without any restrictions.

Our Image to PDF Converter Command Line is licensed by per server, you will need to purchase a license for each server that you want run it on.
