How can I highlight the list of words with annotations in PDF pages by PDF Highlighter Command Line application?

Hello, I want to buy the PDF Highlighter Command Line. It seems like it would be exactly what we need.

I've downloaded the trial but I do not see how I can customize the list to highlight the words I want with the annotations I need. If you can show me that, I'll buy it!

Test vs Licensed. What is the difference between Test and Licensed versions of PDF to Image Converter Command Line application?

Hi, A few weeks back I downloaded the command line DPF2Image from your website. Ran some tests with it and it did exactly what I needed It to do. Off course I ordered the license for the command line tool. After installing this, the syntax looks to have changed.

Former with this command line I only got the last page of the PDF, now I get both pages ??

Thanks for your message, this is a limitation in the trial version, the trial version is always convert first 2 pages, however, after you purchase the software, apply the license key to pdf2img.exe application, you will able to convert from first page from PDF file to image file properly.

When I try to use the Spool File Page Counter SDK within a Windows Service project, it stops when analyzing the file

Hello!

I'm working on a c# application that needs to analyse a .spl file in order to get some information about print jobs, to be more specific, I would like to have Page-Level colour detection in spool files since such information is not present on windows spooler API.

Then I came across verypdf API, I download the trial version of Spool File Page Counter SDK and made some tests with C# and Visual Studio 2012.

It works fine with Windows Forms Applications or Console Applications, but when I try to use the SDK within a Windows Service project, It stops when analyzing the file.
I wonder if this behaviour is caused because I'm using the trial version and every time the SDK try to open the popup message it crashes because the service is trying to open a dialog.

My team is pretty near to acquire this SDK, but we need to have sure that it will work fine with Windows Service Applications.

Also, we would like to know how your support works, can I call you guys every time I have a doubt or problem with the SDK, could we request new features like getting more information from .spl file (document name, the application that started the job, user name, printer name and etc.)?

Thanks for your time!

Yes, you are correct, the trial version does popup a message box, however, the Windows Service can't popup any message box, when you call the trial version of Spool File Page Counter SDK from a Windows Service, this message box will block the running, so Spool File Page Counter SDK will hang forever.

However, after you purchase the full version of Spool File Page Counter SDK, this trial message box will be suppressed, you will able to get it work from Windows Service without any problem, please don't worry about this matter.

Fonts bold and/or off centered problem in PDFPrint Command Line software

Hi

I have been using pdf print cmd for 5-10 years with great success but lately after an upgrade to our cad software (moved from Autodesk AutoCad to Autodesk Inventor) has a new layout (fonts and stuff) on the PDF files that's are exported this has lead some issues when printing.

To start off this is my cmd run string that has worked before,

C:\Temp\Print\PDFPRINT\pdfprint.exe -$ "SECRET" -nochgprinter -restoreprinter -orient 2 -printer "" -duplex 3 -mergeprintjobs "C:\Temp\Files\Print.txt"

print.txt contains following text lines,

C:\Temp\Print\to\T34086403.pdf
C:\Temp\Print\pdf\5port.pdf

after the implementation of Autodesk inventor some of the measurements on the drawings are off center as in not in the middle off the measurement lines as its supposed to.

Tried to add -raster in order to fix this which it did and the measurements are centered again but this lead to problems with orientation on some of our drawings and all text is considerably bolder than in the same PDF from Acrobat Reader

then I tried to replace -raster with -useembedfont which resolved problems with orientation and off centered measurements that raster brought but no success with the bold text.

Have tried several more parameters and settings with no great success.

Can you please point me in the right direction?

If it will help you I can e-mail my sample files.

I am currently using version 2.5 in my business environment but have tested this with current evaluation version (7?) on your web site with the same result.

Thanks in advance

We suggest you may add -raster2 parameter to try again, -raster2 parameter will render PDF pages to images first, and then print the raster images to target printer again, you may run following command line to try,

C:\Temp\Print\PDFPRINT\pdfprint.exe -$ "SECRET" -raster2 -nochgprinter -restoreprinter -orient 2 -printer "" -duplex 3 -mergeprintjobs "C:\Temp\Files\Print.txt"

Will you work better with -raster2 parameter?
