How to print more documents to different printers at same time?

Hello,

I'm writing with few questions about Your "PDFPrint Command Line".

My company is looking for library to print PDF files. We are trying your software and we are satisfied about results.

First question is quantity of printers, that we can use in one time. Our server have 3 printers, and I was trying to print same time 3 types of documents.

When there is no pause between executions of printing command, everything is printed on last called device.

When I put "system pause" between commands, everything was printed on correct devices. Making copy of exe file is not solving problem to. Is there option to print various documents same time on many printers?

If my company will want to use your software as part of our system, is there option to get dll file with functionality of "PDFPrint Command Line"?

What means "Server License" and "Developer License", what is difference between those versions?

Best Regards,
Customer

Thanks for your message, you can use "-nochgprinter" option to support simultaneous PDF printings, for example,

-nochgprinter : don't change default printer during printing

pdfprint.exe -nochgprinter -printer "Printer 1" C:\input.pdf
pdfprint.exe -nochgprinter -printer "Printer 2" C:\input.pdf
pdfprint.exe -nochgprinter -printer "Printer 3" C:\input.pdf

>>If my company will want to use your software as part of our system, is there option to get dll file with functionality of "PDFPrint Command Line"?

You can buy PDFPrint SDK Developer License $1500.00 from this web page,

http://www.verypdf.com/app/pdf-print-cmd/try-and-buy.html#buy-sdk
http://www.verypdf.com/order_pdfprint_sdk_dev.html

after you buy PDFPrint SDK Developer License, you can integrate it into your software and distribute it along with your product to your customers royalty free.

>>What means "Server License" and "Developer License", what is difference between those versions?

Thanks for your message, we have more license types, please refer to following information to understand the different licenses,

Server License: It can be run on one server/computer with any number of users, it is licensed by per production server/computer (you needn't pay for development/test and backup servers), you will need to purchase a server license for each production server/computer you wish to run Server License on. Server License can be run Windows NT Server, Windows 2000 Server, Windows 2003 Server, Windows 2008 Server etc. server systems. After you purchase a server license for a server, all users on this server will able to use this product without any restrictions.

Please notice: Server License is can only be accessed by all users or applications which reside in this server, you can't place the exe file on a shared folder and use it from several clients. If you wish to use it by this method, you will need to purchase a developer license or purchase a license for each client, and register the software from each client, then each client will able to use the software without any license problem.

Developer License (Royalty Free License): It can be run on any number of servers or computers with any number of users, it is licensed by per developer. Developer License is royalty free for runtime desktop redistribution. Developer License does cover the Server License.

If you wish run our product (Command Line or SDK or COM) on lots of computers, you need purchase Developer License (Royalty Free License), once you purchase the Developer License, you can run our product on any number of computers, you can also integrate our product with your application and distribute it with your own application royalty free.

PDF Stamper Command Line text with Underline, Bold, Italic attributes

Can we set the underline and bold on text in the command line?
We are using the -FT"Arial" parameter and would like to set also the bold or/and underline. By using -FN101 it is possible to set the bold. But we would like to use an other font.

Customer
-----------------------------------
You can use "Arial,Bold" to specify "Bold" property, for example,

pdfstamp.exe -pdf example.pdf -o _test_boldtext1.pdf -at VeryPDF -FN201

pdfstamp.exe -pdf example.pdf -o _test_boldtext2.pdf -at VeryPDF -FT "Arial,Bold"

pdfstamp.exe -pdf example.pdf -o _test_boldtext3.pdf -at "@@HelloWorld" -ft "Arial,Bold" -mlr72 -mtb72 -at "@@HelloWorld" -ft "Arial" -mlr72 -mtb172 -at "@@HelloWorld" -ft "Arial" -mlr72 -mtb272

pdfstamp.exe -pdf example.pdf -o _test_boldtext4.pdf -at "@@HelloWorld" -ft "Arial Black" -mlr72 -mtb72 -at "@@HelloWorld" -ft "Arial" -mlr72 -mtb172 -at "@@HelloWorld" -ft "Arial" -mlr72 -mtb272 -unicode

However, pdfstamp.exe doesn't support underline style yet, we will support it in the next minor update version.

VeryPDF
-----------------------------------
Tried to use the version of -FT "Arial,Bold" but the property Bold is not done.

Used the following statement:
pdfstamp.exe -PDF "Arial Bold.pdf" -o "Arial BoldUPD.pdf" -at "@@HelloWorld" -ft "Arial,Bold" -P1 -mlr10 -FS8 -at "@@HelloWorld" -ft "Arial" -P1 -mlr80 -FS8 -at "@@HelloWorld" -ft "Arial Black" -P1 -mlr160 -FS8

Attached the output pdf

Customer

Please download the latest version of pdfstamp command line from our website to try again,

http://www.verypdf.com/app/pdf-stamp/try-and-buy.html#buy-cmd
http://www.verypdf.com/pdfstamp/pdfstamp_cmd.zip

The latest version of pdfstamp.exe does support following command line properly,

pdfstamp.exe -PDF "Arial Bold.pdf" -o "Arial BoldUPD.pdf" -at "@@HelloWorld" -ft "Arial,Bold" -P1 -mlr10 -FS8 -unicode -at "@@HelloWorld" -ft "Arial" -P1 -mlr80 -FS8 -unicode -at "@@HelloWorld" -ft "Arial Black" -P1 -mlr160 -FS8 -unicode

Problem with convert ActiveX elements in HTML pages to PDF files

Dear Sirs or Madam,

I am trying your tool html2any and it works just well but does not include ActiveX elements from the html file.

So output file contains everything but for example graphs. Is there any hint or trick to make this work?

Customer
----------------------------------------
Can you please send to us the sample web page which contain ActiveX elements? after we get the URL, we will test on it and figure out a solution to you soon.

VeryPDF
----------------------------------------
Sorry but that is not possible. Those HTML documents are running on an external computer and need special dll files in the directory where the files are stored.

That's why we need to "screenshot" those files because they can not be opened properly anywhere else.

DocPrintPro 7.0 not running in parallel

Sir/Madam:

Does DocPrintPro 7.0 longer support running simultaneous sessions when run on Windows Server 2012 R2? I had no issues running the two command line simultaneously using DocPrintPro 6.0 from Windows 2003 R2 to convert an RTF file to PDF. However, when I run two same command lines simultaneously using DocPrintPro 7.0. The last one either executed fails; or worse, one of the converted documents lands is placed in the filename the other command line was supposed to created.

A command line example follows:

C:\MIE\Apps\DocPrintPro\doc2pdf.exe -p 0 -d -D -i C:\test\in.rtf -o C:\test\out.pdf
