Batch Convert Image to PDF with VeryPDF OCR Converter Command Line

Hello

I'm testing the trial version of Image to PDF Converter.

Image to PDF Converter v2.1
Web: http://www.imagepdf.com
Email: support@imagepdf.com
Release Date: Dec 16 2007

img2pdf.exe -width 596 -height 842 -margin 30x30x30x30 -dpi 300 input.jpg output.pdf

1. I'm expecting the jpg to be centered with 30 margin around and keeping the aspect ratio, so as the jpg is not A4 format ratio, the margin would be different top/bottom to left/right as it cannot be 30 all around.

2. I'm expecting the dpi parameter change the image resolution within the pdf, but I get the same pdf-size dpi 100 and dpi 300 with a hight resolution jpg as input...

3. I'm expecting a compression level for the image within the pdf, but I cannot find one.

4. I need A4 as output format, but with width 596 and height 842 I cannot make it perfect 210x297mm, is there a hidden format switch?

See attachment for expected result.

Many thanks in advance
Kind regards,
Customer

Effortlessly Convert HTML to PDF with VeryPDF HTML to PDF Converter Library – Reliable and Easy-to-Use Solution

PDF is a popular document format used for sharing and printing documents in a wide variety of applications. HTML is the language used for creating web pages. VeryPDF HTML to PDF Converter Library is a software product that allows developers to easily convert HTML pages and HTML strings to PDF documents.

VeryPDF HTML2PDF library is a comprehensive tool that can be integrated into web applications or used as a standalone product. The library offers several features that allow developers to create professional-looking PDF documents, such as setting margins, pagination, paper format settings, and rendering texts, images, and shapes of the document in any combination. It also supports watermark protection, securing converted files with two password levels, adding a digital signature, and selective user permissions.

One of the main features of VeryPDF HTML to PDF Converter Library is the ability to convert from URL (web page) to PDF. This means that developers can create a PDF document from any web page, regardless of whether it is hosted on a local server or on the internet. In addition, it can convert raw HTML text to PDF, with the ability to specify a base URL if the HTML code references external CSS files or images.

Another significant feature of VeryPDF HTML to PDF Converter Library is the multiple output options. The generated PDF document can be output to a file, stream, byte array, or PDF document object that can be further processed by the software development kit (SDK). This makes it easier for developers to manipulate the PDF document after it has been created.

VeryPDF HTML to PDF Converter Library also offers the ability to set page size and margins, which provides developers with full control of the PDF document's appearance. Headers and footers can be displayed on all pages, with full HTML support included for these sections. Developers can also choose to preserve or disable HTML links in the PDF document.

Automatic and custom page breaks can be added to the PDF document using VeryPDF HTML to PDF Converter Library. The software automatically inserts page breaks when needed, without breaking lines of text or images. Custom page breaks can also be added using simple page-break-before and page-break-after CSS styles. This feature allows developers to customize the appearance of the PDF document according to their needs.

If developers only need to convert a section of a web page to PDF, VeryPDF HTML to PDF Converter Library offers the ability to do so by specifying the HTML element ID. Similarly, if certain elements of the web page need to be hidden when converted to PDF, developers can use the software's "hide elements" feature.

VeryPDF HTML to PDF Converter Library also allows developers to merge several web pages into the same PDF document. This feature is useful for creating reports or other documents that require information from multiple web pages.

Finally, VeryPDF HTML to PDF Converter Library supports various authentication methods, such as Windows Authentication, HTTP Authentication, and Forms Authentication. This feature allows developers to convert web pages that require authentication to PDF.

In conclusion, VeryPDF HTML to PDF Converter Library is a comprehensive software product that allows developers to easily create professional-looking PDF documents from web pages and HTML strings. Its many features, including the ability to convert from URL to PDF, multiple output options, and the ability to set page size and margins, make it an excellent choice for developers who need to convert HTML pages to PDF documents.
