Flash to PNG Converter Command Line

For converting Flash to PNG or SWF to PNG format file by command line, you can choose the application Flash to PNG Converter Command Line.

Flash to PNG Converter is a MS-DOS interface oriented application, and it is free to be downloaded and evaluated. You will find it is a zip file and you should unpack it on some disk of your computer for smoothly calling the executable file.

Open MS-DOS command line prompt window by any one of two methods offered here. The first one is to click “Start”—“Run” to open “Run” dialog box. Then input “cmd” in “Open” edit box and click “OK” button. The second one is to use the hot key “Window”+ “R” combination to open “Run” dialog box.

There is a command line template about converting Flash to PNG as follows:

swf2img.exe -in input.swf -out output.png

Where

swf2img.exe stands for the executable file in the application.

-in input.swf stands for the input SWF file.

-out output.png stands for the output PNG format images.

The example command line in MS-DOS command line prompt window in Figure1 can give you better interpretation about the template above.

The whole command line is

"C:\Documents and Settings\admin\My Documents\Downloads\swftoimage_cmd\swf2img.exe" -in D:\test\google\google.swf -out test.png

"C:\Documents and Settings\admin\My Documents\Downloads\swftoimage_cmd\swf2img.exe"

is the file path of the executable file of the application. You can drag the file into the prompt window directly for convenience.

-in D:\test\google\google.swf is the file path of source SWF file.

-out test.png is the name of the target file.

After clicking on “Enter” button on the keyboard, you will see the converting window like the one in Figure2.
