Connect iPad to PC

    If you haven't connect your iPad or other iOS device (iPhone/iPod Touch) to your computer, a dialog box as below will pop out, reminding you to connect a device to the computer. Meanwhile, at the left down corner, it is said Unconnected.

    In this case, you can take two steps to use VeryPDF iPad PDF Transfer:

  • Click OK to close the Notice dialog box as above.
  • Connect your iPad or iPhone or iPod touch to the PC.

    • Then, you can view the connection information at the left down corner of the main interface. You can also click the buttons  under the list box or  on the right side of the main interface to view the information of the connected device. The owner of the device, the number and total size of all the books on the iPad, iPhone or iPod touch will be shown under the list box of the main interface. 

    If you don't want to connect the device to PC at the present, you can click the check box before Don't remind me before you click OK on the Notice dialog box.

Import PDF and ePub to iPad from PC

    Please choose one of the followings to import PDF and ePub files to iPad, iPhone, or iPod Touch from your local disk:

  • Drag and drop-You can drag multiple ePub and PDF files from your PC and drop them into the list box of the main interface of VeryPDF iPad PDF Transfer.
  • Click the Import button—Please click the button  at the bottom of the main interface. → When the following dialog box appears, please select multiple PDF and ePub files in the list box. →Click Open.

    • The dialog box disappears. You can view the imported files on the main interface of VeryPDF iPad PDF Transfer in a couple of seconds after the data are refreshed.

  • From the right click menu—Right click the mouse button over the list box of the main interface → the right click menu as below appears, and then you can click Import on the menu. → The dialog box as above appears. Please choose multiple PDF and ePub files in the list box. → Click Open.

Back up PDF and ePub of iPad onto PC

    There are two ways to export PDF and ePub from iPad, iPhone, iPod Touch to PC. Please choose one of the followings to back up your eBooks from iPad to PC, or iPhone to PC, or iPod touch onto PC.

  • Click the Export button—please click the Export button  under the list box of the main interface. → A dialog box as below pops out, where you can choose a folder to store the ePub and PDF files. → Click Ok.

  • From the right click menu—Please move the cursor over the list box, and then right click the mouse, → click Export on the right click menu, →then a dialog box as above appears. → Choose a folder, and then click OK. 

Delete PDF and ePub from iPad

    Please follow the steps below to delete files from your iPad, iPhone, or iPod Touch on PC:

  • Choose the PDF and ePub files you want to back up by pressing Ctrl and clicking over the files listed in the browser window on PC
  • Click the Delete button under the list box of the main interface.

View the iPad information

    As long as your iPad, iPhone or iPod touch is connected to the computer, you can view the information of the connected iPad, iPhone or iPod touch by clicking either of the buttons below:

  • The button under the list box.
  • The button on the right hand of the list box.
