VeryPDF PDF Repair for Mac is specially designed for fixing corrupted PDF files. If you have found that some import PDF files are damaged and unable to open, you may use this application to repair them. This application is helpful for recovering import contents in damaged PDF files. This article shows the usage of VeryPDF PDF Repair for Mac.

Download and install

VeryPDF PDF Repair for Mac is free for trial, and you may download and install it here. After installing it, you will see it in the Applications folder in your Mac OS X. Run the application, and then you will see the main interface as displayed below.

On the top, there are functions buttons to control the repairing progress. The table under the buttons is a process queue, and the message panel on its right displays the process status.

Prepare to repair

Click the button Add to add the corrupted PDF files into the process queue. You can see the PDF file information in the table. If you want to remove unwanted items in the process queue, click Remove to remove the select ones, or Clear to remove all.

Repair PDF files

Click Output Folder to specify a folder to save the repaired PDF files. Then click the button Repair to start the fixing progress. Then the damaged PDF files in the process queue will be recovered one by one. During the recovering, the process status will be displayed on the right panel.

If the PDF files are protected by permission password, the password will be removed from the repaired PDF files. If you want to deal with open password encrypted PDF files, please try the Windows version VeryPDF PDF Repair.
