In order for the conversion (XPS to PDF) to take place, an XPS viewer/reader (such as Microsoft XPS Viewer or Microsoft XPS Viewer EP) needs to be installed as well as a PDF printer driver such as PDFcamp Printer or docPrint PDF Driver.

  • Double-click on the XPS file to open it into the XPS viewer (that you installed previously)
  • The XPS document will open in an embedded window in Internet Explorer. Right click anywhere in the content of the opened XPS file and select Print
  • From the list of existing printers select "PDFcamp Printer" or "docPrint PDF Driver" and click on Print. You'll be asked for a location where to save the PDF file.
Converting an XPS to a PDF using Microsoft XPS Viewer EP (Essentials Pack):
  • Microsoft XPS Viewer EP is a standalone XPS viewer that comes with the XPS Essentials Pack which can be downloaded and installed from here - http://www.microsoft.com/whdc/xps/viewxps.mspx
