I will show you my way to convert pdf to mhtml. PDF file, we are familiar with it.However, mhtml is a little unacquainted to us. MHTML, short for MIME HTML, is a web page archive format used to combine resources that are typically represented by external links (such as images, Flash animations, Java applets, audio files) together with HTML code into a single file.The content of an MHTML file is encoded as if it were an HTML e-mail message, using the MIME type
multipart/related. I cite it from encyclopedia for others who are not so familiar with it and can know one or two about it.
I can covert my pdf file to mhtml document but I need a tool called PDF to PowerPoint Converter. I convert it in two steps.
- I convert pdf file to ppt file by PDF to PowerPoint Converter.
- I can change the file format by the converted pdf file to mhtml document.
We are not unacquainted for the second step because it is the function of PowerPoint, we focus on the first one. About the downloading way, you can refer to this article. https://www.verypdf.com/wordpress/201110/who-can-tell-me-how-to-download-the-pdf-to-powerpoint-converter-3978.html. And how to use it, this article will help you learn more. https://www.verypdf.com/wordpress/201110/who-can-tell-me-how-to-import-pdf-file-into-powerpoint-4023.html So I will introduce the usage in brief words.
- Download PDF to PowerPoint Converter from here. https://www.verypdf.com/pdf2ppt/index.html#dl
- Enter the interface, add pdf files and choose the menu options then convert it like figure 2.
Then let’s see what the menus mean. “ Output Option”- a, the “Original Layout” means that it keeps the source file arrangement. b, “Text Only” means that the output ppt file can ignore the images in the source file, it will only keep text document. “Reconstruction Mode”-a, “Auto Layout Text Content” means that the ppt file will arrange the text content automatically according to the ppt layout. b, “Flow text with text boxes” means that it able to convert PDF files to editable PowerPoint presentations, with all the original text, images, graphics, layout and formatting exactly preserved in the converted PPT documents; c, “Exact reconstruction mode” means that it is able to accurately preserve text, pictures, and layout of the original PDF; “Page Range” means that you can choose the whole pdf file or just some of it(all, from-to, individual pages); “PDF Password means that it can convert owner and user password protected PDF files to PowerPoint documents;
After choosing the menus then convert it, you will get a ppt file like this “text.ppt”. All you need to do is that saving this ppt file as the format of mhtml as I did in the figure 3. Then I converted the pdf to mhtml successfully.
