How to rotate the page while converting emf to tif?

You will find it is a zip file from the link so you need to unzip it to a suitable location in your computer.Then you will find an executable file named htmltool.exe in the folder,which is the called program in the conversion of emf to tif .

The following steps are the details to interpret the process of converting emf to tif and set rotate the page at the same time.

Step1.Have cmd.exe program launched

There are two methods to run cmd.exe dialog box.

Method1.Click image  and click “run” in start menu like Figure1.In the popup dialog box input “cmd” in “open” edit box,then click “OK” button like Figure2.

Step2.Have the command line inputted

There is a main structure about the command line in the conversion of emf to tif and you should write the commands according to it.

htmltools.exe –rotate value “input.emf” output.tif

The command line indicates four parts—called program,parameter,source file and target file.Please see Figure3.

"C:\Documents and Settings\admin\Local Settings\Temp\htmltools\htmltools.exe" -rotate 270 "C:\Documents and Settings\admin\Desktop\New Folder\test0001.emf""C:\Documents and Settings\admin\Desktop\New Folder\test.tif"

"C:\Documents and Settings\admin\Local Settings\Temp\htmltools\htmltools.exe"  is the path of htmltools.exe.Someone don’t want to input so lone directory in cmd.exe.The best way is to drag the file into cmd.exe dialog box and the file will turn to directory without any mistake.

-rotate 270  is the rotation angle of the source file which will rotate clockwise.

"C:\Documents and Settings\admin\Desktop\New Folder\test0001.emf"  is the path of source file.You can also drag it into cmd.exe dialog box.

"C:\Documents and Settings\admin\Desktop\New Folder\test.tif"  is the directory and name of target file which should be set by yourself.You’d better enclose the path with double quotes because the system will identify the path before the space and identify the rest part as the next directory.

Step3.Have the target browsed

You will find the target file in specified directory,please see Figure4.You can browse it with some viewer such as Photoshop,IrfanView,GSview,Windows Picture and Fax Viewer and so on.
