htmltools.exe –rotate value “input.wmf” output.bmp

htmltools.exe  stands for the called program which locates in installation folder of HTML Converter Command Line.It is also the executable file in HTML Converter Command Line.–rotate value  is the rotation angle setting to the source file.“input.wmf”  stands for the source file and output.bmp  stands for the target file. The following example will explain the structure further.

"C:\Documents and Settings\admin\Local Settings\Temp\htmltools\htmltools.exe" -rotate 180 "C:\Documents and Settings\admin\Desktop\wmf\AN00853_.WMF" test.bmp

"C:\Documents and Settings\admin\Local Settings\Temp\htmltools\htmltools.exe"  is the path of htmltools.exe.If you input the path in cmd.exe dialog box, you’d better enclose the path with double quotes.Because when the system check the file path,it will see the path before a space as one path and the left one after the space as another one, then the program will be on an error. But this kind of case will be avoid because the file will turn to file path enclosed in double quotes when being dragged into cmd.exe dialog box. There is also another way to input the path. You can copy the path of the file in its folder and right click your mouse in cmd.exe dialog box, which means pasting the copied contents.

-rotate 180  means the page rotation angle is set as 180°.90 and 270 are also available.

"C:\Documents and Settings\admin\Desktop\wmf\AN00853_.WMF"  is the path of source file.

test.bmp  is the name of target file. You can set the directory for the target file as any location in your computer here.Of course, you can not do that like this example.

Step3.Find the target file.

The target file will be saved in current directory. You can find it,which marks the end of the conversion of wmf to bmp format file.
