How to set the bit depth while converting emf to tga?

There are four dialog boxes in Figure1 which shows the whole process of setting the bit depth when converting emf to tga format file.

The first dialog indicates the software used in the conversion of emf to tag,which is called HTML Converter Command Line.It is a powerful HTML conversion product. HTML Converter Command Line allows you to create previews or thumbnails of web pages in a number of different formats, such as TIF, TIFF, JPG, JPEG, GIF, PNG, BMP, PCX, TGA, JP2 (JPEG2000), PNM, etc. It also allows you to convert web pages to PDF, PS (postscript), WMF, EMF vector formats.HTML Converter command line application can be called from within ASP, VB, VC, Delphi, BCB, Java, .NET and COM+ etc. program languages. It uses advanced techniques to allow efficient asynchronous multithreaded operations. You can download the HTML Converter Command Line at https://www.verypdf.com/htmltools/htmltools.zip and unzip it to some location you like in your computer.Then you will see the executable file htmltools.exe in the folder which is framed in rectangle in first dialog.It is the called program file in the conversion of emf to tga.

The second dialog shows the source file—emf file in the conversion,which is the file you want to convert.

The third dialog shows the command line in cmd.exe dialog box.The command line includes called program,parameter,source file and target file.There is a basic template of command line for you to refer to:

htmltools.exe –bitcount value “input.emf” output.tga

The command line in the third dialog is "C:\Documents and Settings\admin\Local Settings\Temp\htmltools\htmltools.exe" -bitcount 24 "C:\Program Files\docPrint Pro v5.0\blank.emf" blank.tga

"C:\Documents and Settings\admin\Local Settings\Temp\htmltools\htmltools.exe"  is the path of htmltools.exe.To save your precise time,you can drag htmltools.exe from its folder into cmd.exe dialog box like arrow1 and arrow2.

-bitcount 24   is the value of bit depth which can be set as 1,8 or 24.

"C:\Program Files\docPrint Pro v5.0\blank.emf"   is the path of source file.

blank.tga  is the name of target file.If you don’t define the name of target file here,it will be converted to pdf file automatically.

The last dialog box shows the location of target file.You can see the file is saved in current directory.If you want it located in some other place in your computer,you can set the directory in command line like this:C:\Documents and Settings\admin\Desktop\New Folder\blank.tga.Then the file will be saved in the folder C:\Documents and Settings\admin\Desktop\New Folder.
