How to convert OpenOffice documents of ODT to SVG?

SVG format is the two-dimensional vector graphic format which is created by the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C). SVG format file was developed as a standard format for displaying vector graphics on the Web. It can describe the images which use a text format that is based on XML.   • Please open the ODT document and click “File”—“Print” to open “Print” dialog box in which you can set the printer as docPrint in “Printer” combo box and click “Print” button to close the dialog box. You can also press “Ctrl”+ “P” to open the “Print” dialog box. If you have set docPrint as the default printer, just right click the ODT document which needs to be converted and click “Print” option for directly running docPrint.
  • In the popup “docPrint” main window, you should open the “Save As” dialog box. Please click “File”—“Save as” or click the “Save File” button in the toolbar. You can also press and hold “Ctrl” button and click “S” button at the same time to open “Save As” dialog box to set parameters for the target file.
  • The last step is to make changes to the target file. In “Save As” dialog box which is shown in Figure1, you should choose the location for the target file in “Save in” combo box. In “File name” edit box, please input the name for the target file. In “Save as type” combo box, you need to specify the right output format. Then please click on “Save” button to save the changes.

After you click on “Save” button, you will see a green progress bar at the bottom of “docPrint” window and the bar will be empty when the conversion from odt to svg comes to the end, when you can find the target file in the specified location on the disk of your computer.
