How to save paper when printing documents?

Have you ever thought about the problem that you can save paper and ink when you print document?  If you can take the virtual printer docPrint as your helper, you will be able to save paper and ink in the printing process easily by by some easy clicks.

The virtual printer docPrint is the internal application in Document Converter which is an expert document converter designed to convert any printable documents to image formats.

It supplies three kind of internal application which are used for realize different purposes. The GUI application can be used in batch conversion for it is good at converting documents to images in batch. The command line application is often taken by software developers to develop software. The virtual printer can be used as the Windows printer which is able to save paper and ink.

The virtual printer docPrint has a friendly and clear interface, with which you are able to master the way to save paper when printing documents easily. To use docPrint, you should download Document Converter at https://www.verypdf.com/artprint/docprint_pro_setup.exe and install it on your computer. You can also set docPrint as your default printer to make your work more convenient.

Please open the document you want to print at first. For example, you want to print ppt to emf format file. There are two ways to run docPrint. The first one is to open the PPT document and click “File”—“Print” to open “Print” dialog box in which you should choose “docPrint” as your printer in “Printer” dropdown list. Then click “Print” button. The second one is to right click the PPT document and click “Print” option in the dropdown list to open docPrint main window directly if you have set docPrint as the default printer.

Please see docPrint main window in Figure 1. There are several function buttons in the toolbar, which can be used to realize different functions. Please see those six buttons framed by the rectangle. When you click on the first button, it means you will print one page document on one sheet. If you click on the second button, it means you will print two pages on one single sheet. So you can also print four, six, eight and six pages on one sheet if you like. In the small dialog box which is named as “Option Settings” on the right, you can also realize this function to save paper. In “n-UP on startup” dropdown list, you can choose “1 page”, “2 pages”, “4 pages”, “6 pages”, “8 pages” or “16 pages” options to print different pages on one single sheet.

Then you should save the target file. Please click “File”—“Save As” to open “Save As” dialog box. You can also take the hot key “Ctrl”+ “S” to open the same dialog box. Please see it in Figure 2.

In “Save in” dropdown list, please specify the location for the output file. In “File name” edit box, you need to input the name for the target file. In “Save as type” dropdown list, please choose the right output format and then please click on “Save” button to save all the changes.
