Convert documents of ODT to bitmap image by command line

ODT document is one kind of file format of OpenOffice and if you want to convert the document of ODT to bitmap image by command line, you can finish the whole conversion only by three steps and the application tool you should use is doc2pdf.exe which is the internal application of Document Converter.

Then you will be able to use it.

Please open MS-DOS interface at first for calling the command line application doc2pdf.exe and inputting the command line into it. You can use use any one of the given ways.

  • Click “Start” and click “Run” in the start menu. Then please input “cmd” in “Open” combo box and click “OK” button.
  • You can also use the hot key “Window”+ “R” to open “Run” dialog box.

Then please input command line into MS-DOS interface. You should write your command line like the following one.

doc2pdf –i C:\FILEIN.odt –o C:\FILEOUT.bmp (Here we take BMP as the example of bitmap image.)

You can see there are three parts in the command line—called program, source file and target file. When you write the command line, please remember to use the path of each file. Just see the following example.

"C:\Program Files\docPrint Pro v5.0\doc2pdf.exe" –i "C:\Documents and Settings\admin\FILEIN.odt” –o C:\FILEOUT.bmp

"C:\Program Files\docPrint Pro v5.0\doc2pdf.exe" is the path of doc2pdf.exe.

–i "C:\Documents and Settings\admin\FILEIN.odt” is the path of source file.

(NOTE: If you don’t want to input the long path word by word, please drag the file you need into the interface or you can copy the path and paste it in the interface)

–o C:\FILEOUT.bmp is the path of target file.
