Edit PDF Description

After you create a PDF document, it may cross your mind that you have not edited the PDF Description. But the application at hand does not support this kind of function. What will you do? PDF Editor is a powerful application tool which allows you to edit the input PDF document. For example, you can use it to add comments, notes, stamps, links, etc for PDF document. You can also edit the contents, draws in the document as your will. It is necessary to set up it on your computer and you just need to follow the installation wizard to finish this job.

Then please open PDF Editor. For this purpose, you can use any one of the following ways to realize. The first one is to double click the application icon if you can find it. The second one is to right click the application icon and choose “Open” option in dropdown list. The third one is to click “Start”—“All Programs”—“VeryPDF PDF Editor v2.6”—“VeryPDF PDF Editor”.

The user interface of PDF Editor will come out on your computer screen. The next thing you need to do is to input the PDF document into the application. Please click “File”—“Open” and you will see “Open” dialog box appear. You need to select the document you want to edit from the disk of your computer and click “OK” button. Then document will be successfully added to the application and you can see the current page of it in Document Pane of PDF Editor. Please see it in Figure 1. For inputting PDF document, you can also click “Open” button in the toolbar or use the hot key “Ctrl”+ “O” to open “Open” dialog box.

For editing PDF Description, please click “File”—“Document Properties” or use the keyboard shortcuts “Ctrl”+ “D” combination to open “Document Properties” dialog box in which you are able to see the basic information about the original PDF document. Please see the dialog box in Figure 2.

You can edit “Title”, “Author”, “Subject”, “Keywords”, etc. information for the PDF document and then click “OK” button. In this dialog box, you can also see the created and modified date and time of the input file. You will know which application is used to create this PDF document. The document version, path, size, page size and page number are also shown here.

When it return back to the user interface of PDF Editor, please click “Save” button which is not available before you edit PDF Description in the toolbar to save the changes. Then you can close the document via clicking the button “image ” in menu area or close the application directly.
