Edit PDF property

When you create or edit a PDF document, you may want to add the property information for it such as the author, subject, title, and so on. The GUI application allows you to edit PDF Property easily and quickly just via some easy clicks. You may never hear of this application before, so in this article, you will also get some acquaintances to the tool to be used.

PDF Editor is a product of VeryPDF and it can convert many kinds of file formats to PDF document, also can convert the PDF file to various image formats and txt file. It is a good editor to modify the PDF document for it can add comments, edit contents for inputted PDF document. You can also PDF Editor as a PDF viewer because it can resize, zoom in or out, scroll page when you add PDF document in it.

So if you want to use the PDF Editor, please download it at https://www.verypdf.com/pdf-editor/pdfeditor_setup.exe and install it on your computer. You can create a desktop icon of the application for you can use it anytime when you need. Then you will be able to run PDF Editor to work for you.

At the beginning of the task, please open the application. There are three ways you can refer to. The first one is to double click the desktop icon of the application. The second one is to right click the icon and click “Open” button in dropdown list. The third way is to click “Start”—“All Programs”—“VeryPDF PDF Editor v2.6”—“VeryPDF PDF Editor”.

In the opened main window of PDF Editor, you need to add the PDF document into it. Please click “File”—“Open” to open “Open” dialog box. Then you can choose the PDF document which needs to edit PDF Property and click “OK” button. For opening the “Open” dialog box, you can also click “Open” button in the toolbar or use the shortcut key “Ctrl”+ “O” on the keyboard.

Then you will see the inputted PDF document in Document Pane of PDF Editor. For editing PDF Property, please click “File”—“Document Properties” to open “Document Properties” dialog box. Or you can use the hot key “Ctrl”+ “D” to open it. Please see the dialog box in Figure 1.

Please click “Description” in the navigation pane of the dialog box to show PDF document description information. You are able to see the created and modified date and time of the source file. You can also see the creating application, PDF version, path, file size, page size and number of pages of PDF document. In “Title”, “Author”, “Subject”, “Keywords” text box, please edit these PDF Property according to your needs and click “OK” button at last.

Then you will come back to the main window of PDF Editor. You can see “Save” button in toolbar area becomes to be available because you have made changes to the inputted PDF document. You can click this button or you can click “File”—“Save” to save the changes. Then you can close the document by clicking the button image in the top right corner of Document Pane. You can also straightforward close the application.
