Edit PDF Subject with PDF Editor

PDF Subject is one kind of description for describing the basic information of PDF document. If you want to edit it after you create a PDF document, you can use PDF Editor to help you because it is able to edit PDF document in different aspects such as modifying the contents, adding comments, editing properties and so on.

Before editing PDF Subject, please download the application you are going to use. If you want to experience PDF Editor only, you can download the free evaluation application at https://www.verypdf.com/pdf-editor/pdfeditor_setup.exe and set up it on your computer. In the installation process, you will be reminded to create a desktop icon for PDF Editor. If you need to use it usually, please create one, if not, you can refuse.

Four steps will be required if you want to edit PDF Subject. You need to open the application, input PDF document, make the edition and create new PDF document. For knowing the specific details, please see the contents below:

Firstly, you can click “Start”—“All Programs”—“VeryPDF PDF Editor v2.6”—“VeryPDF PDF Editor” to open PDF Editor for using. If there is a desktop icon on your desktop, just double click it or right click it and click “Open” option to open the application.

Secondly, please try to input the PDF document into PDF Editor. In the opened main window of PDF Editor, please click “File”—“Open” or click “Open” button in toolbar area to open “Open” dialog box. Then you can choose the PDF document to be edited from the disk of your computer and click “OK” button. If you want to use some other way to open this dialog box, you can also use the hot key “Ctrl”+ “O”.

Thirdly, after seeing the inputted PDF document in Document Pane of PDF Editor, you can click “File”—“Document Properties” or press “Ctrl”+ “D” to open “Document Properties” dialog box. Please see it in Figure 1. You are allowed to edit PDF Subject in “Subject” text box of this dialog box. Just click “Description” option on the right and input the subject you want to edit in “Subject” text box. Then please click “OK” button.

Lastly, you will see the former interface which is the main window of PDF Editor again. Please create the new PDF document by clicking “File”—“Save as” or pressing the hot key “Ctrl”+ “Shift”+ “S” to open “Save as” dialog box in which you can specify the path, input the name, choose output format and save the new PDF document.

Then please find the new PDF document in specified location and you can see its properties. You will find that the PDF Subject has been changes as the one you have inputted. There are also a variety of functions of PDF Editor at its homepage: https://www.verypdf.com/app/pdf-editor/index.html.
