With the help of PDF Editor, you can edit pdf document by adding comments, contents or editing the comments or contents for the inputted pdf document. Just by some easy clicks, you can fulfill this kind of work. This article aims at showing you how to use VeryPDF PDF Editor to edit your pdf document.
Before working, you need to download the PDF Editor at https://www.verypdf.com/pdf-editor/pdfeditor_setup.exe and install it on your computer. This is the free evaluation version for you to try the application. When you install PDF Editor, you can choose to create a desktop icon for the application so that you can use it anytime just by double clicking the icon or right clicking the icon and clicking “Open” option in the dropdown list. If not, please click “Start”—“All Programs”—“VeryPDF PDF Editor v2.6”—“VeryPDF PDF Editor” to open the application you use.
Just open the pdf document that you want to edit into PDF Editor. You can click “File”—“Open” or click “Open” button in the toolbar to open “Open” dialog box in which you are able to select the pdf document from the disk of your computer and add it to into PDF Editor. If you want to open this dialog box, you can also hit the shortcut key “Ctrl”+ “O”.
Please see the main window of PDF Editor in Figure 1. You can click “Edit Content” or “Edit Comment” to open content status or comment status, only one of which is available when you edit pdf document. When you activate content status, you are allowed to edit the contents in original pdf document or add new contents for it just by clicking the sentence you want to edit. Then a red function frame will select the sentence. If you right click the frame, a floating item will come out and you can choose to cut, copy, delete, etc. for the sentence. When clicking “Properties” option in the item, the “Content Editor—Text” dialog box appears and you can set the text, font, font size, font color or transform the location of the sentence.

When the comment status is open, you can add note, textbox, stamp, draws to the pdf document. For example, you can add a stamp in the document. Just click “Add stamp” button or click “Tools”—“Comment”—“Stamp”. Then a dialog box will open and you can choose which kind of image format you want to add as a stamp. After choosing one, you can see the stamp appear in the default position of document pane. You can drag it to anywhere and you can also double click it to add annotation for the stamp. The size of the stamp can also be regulated when you drag the corner or the middle the stamp. Please see it in Figure 2.

Please click “Save” button in toolbar or click “File”—“Save” to save the changes you have made and you need to create a new pdf document by clicking “File”—“Save as” to open “Save as” dialog box in which you can set the output location and name the new pdf document.
