How to convert scanned PDF to XLSX

It is hardly to convert scanned PDF to XLSX format file with the normal document converter without OCR technology. You need to open the application at first. If you have created a desktop icon for the application, you can directly double click the icon or right click it and choose “Open” button in dropdown list. On the contrary, you need to click “Start”—“VeryPDF PDF to Excel OCR Converter v2.0”—“VeryPDF PDF to Excel OCR Converter v2.0” to open the application.

Then please add scanned PDF document into the opened window of PDF to Excel OCR Converter, which is shown in Figure 1. The most convenient way is to drag and drop the file into the file list of the application. Or you need to click “Add PDF File (s)” or right click anywhere of the file list to choose “Add files” option in popup floating item. In opened “PDF to Excel” dialog box, you are able to choose scanned PDF documents that you want to convert.

Then please choose the language you need to OCR in top-right dropdown list from six supported OCR options. For example, if the language to be OCRed is Italian, you need to select the 5th option “OCR PDF file (Language: Italian)” in dropdown list. In “Output Options” group box, you can choose the layout format for the created Excel file from three choices. If you want to convert scanned PDF to XLSX file, please check “MS Excel 2007 format (XLSX)” option in “Output Formats” group box. If you need to set the page range of the converted scanned PDF document, please check “Select Range” option in “Page Range” group box at first, then input the page number in “From” and “To” edit boxes.

At last, please click “Convert” button for opening “Save as” dialog box in which you can specify the output location in “Save in” dropdown list and input the name for the target file in “File name” edit box and click “Save” button to run the conversion from scanned PDF to XLSX file.
