Line content in PDF document

In PDF document, you can use different kinds of elements to enrich your contents. For example, you can use line, rectangle, ellipse, polyline, etc. content to make your PDF document more interesting. So the application PDF Editor will help you do this kind of work. To add line content, this article will play as a good teacher to you.

When you download PDF Editor via clicking the link www.verypdf.com/pdf-editor/pdfeditor_setup.exe to your computer, you need to install it by following the installation wizard popping up after you double click the setup file. When you need to open PDF Editor, you can correspondingly double click the desktop icon of PDF Editor. If you can not find the icon or you forget where you have installed the application, please click “Start”—“All Programs”—“VeryPDF PDF Editor v2.6”—“VeryPDF PDF Editor” to open the application.

In the opened PDF Editor, you can add the PDF document into the application. Just click “File”—“Open” or click “Open” button in the toolbar to open the dialog box which is titled “Open”. In it you can find and add the PDF document into PDF Editor. Or you can not open PDF Editor when you open the PDF document. You just need to right click the file and click “Open With”—“Choose Program” to open “Open With” window in which you need to click “Browse” to select PDF Editor as the right opening application.

In the main window of PDF Editor, please click “Edit Content” button in the toolbar or click “Tools”—“Edit Content” to activate the content status. Then the buttons in content toolbar become to be available. Then you need to click “Tools”—“Content”—“Draw”—“Line” or click “Add Line” button in the toolbar for adding line content in PDF document.

Please hold the left button of your mouse and choose a start point for the line. Drag your mouse to anywhere until you are satisfied with the line and then loose the mouse button. Click the line and you will find there is a red rectangle framing the line. You will also able to edit the line content. When you right click the rectangle, a floating item will appear and you can use any option in it to edit the line. You can also click “Properties” option to open “Content Editor-Line” to edit the line color, width and other editable parameters. Please see it in Figure 1.

Please save the changes by clicking “Save” button in the toolbar or click “File”—“Save”. You need to create a new PDF document when you have saved the changes. Just click “File”—“Save as” to open “Save as” dialog box in which you can input the name and specify the path for the new created PDF document.
