Recently, a friend of mine has sent some scanned JPG pictures (JPG pictures from the scanner) for me but it’s upsetting that all the pictures are in PDF format. I don’t really want to ask him to send all the pictures in JPG again and was hoping there is a way to convert PDF to JPG on Mac OS X (because I used Mac computer right now).
PDF is a printable document format, which was created by Adobe to share documents across programs and computer platforms. However, JPG is a common used image format, which is widely used in digital cameras, web pages, email, memory cards, etc.
As everyone knows, in this Internet age, when you have problems, the first thing that comes to your mind may be to find solutions from the Internet. So I went to Google for some solutions. Firstly, I inputted “convert PDF to JPG” into Google. A couple of PDF to JPG converters pop up. I clicked some links in the first page of Google and found that they are all for Windows operating system, not for Mac OS X. Then, I searched “convert PDF to JPG on Mac OS X” into Google. I found several converters and tried some of them. But none of them seemed to reach the result I wanted. Some converters are so complicated that I don’t know how to use it. Some are easy to grasp but the result pictures are extremely blurred…
At the verge of giving up, I suddenly found PDF to Image Converter for Mac. It made me easily convert PDF files to JPG pictures with clear effect. What’s more, it also able to convert PDF document to other image formats such as BMP, JPG, GIF, TIFF, PNG, etc on Mac OS X.
There are times you may need to convert PDF to JPG on Mac OS X.
