How to add local date at top left of PDF file

The GUI application VeryPDF PDF Stamp allows you to add local date at top left of PDF file.

Step 1. Download and install

Please download VeryPDF PDF Stamp and install it on the computer via double clicking the downloaded file and following the setup wizard. For your handy use, you can create a shortcut on your desktop.

Step 2. Add PDF file

Please double click the shortcut icon of this application on the desktop to launch this tool. After launching this software, you can see the user interface of this application on the screen. There are five tabs on top of the interface and the default one is the “PDF File List” tab. To add PDF into the file list, you can click the Add PDF Files button below the file list to open file picker window in which you can choose files. Or you can directly drag and drop the PDF file into the application. The following snapshot is from the “PDF File List” panel.

Step 3. Add local date

To add local date at top left of PDF file, please click the Text Stamp tab to switch to the “Text Stamp” panel. Then, please do as follows:

  • Select “Local date (YY-MM-DD)” or “Local date (DD-MM-YY)” option in the drop-down list of “Dynamic Text”
  • Click the Add button to activate the grey part.
  • Choose “Top-Left of the page” in the drop-down list of “Position”.

On this panel, you can also set font, size, color, align, action, etc. to customize the added local date. To preview the effect, please see the right side of the panel. Please see it in the following snapshot.

Step 4. Stamp

Before the stamping, you can click the Global tab and choose a destination folder in the “Global” panel. Then, please click the tab PDF File List to switch to the “PDF File List” panel. At last, please click the Stamping button on the “PDF File List”panel to stamp the PDF with local date.

After a while, you can get the PDF with local date in the output location.
