Question:When I try to convert the tiff into the excel file using VeryPDF, it is converting but with lot of errors.Kindly advise. Please check the attachment here.

Answer: After checking your tif file and try to convert it to Excel, the conversion is good and there is few errors. So I guess maybe there are some wrong operations. So I put an article here for your reference. If you use software Table Extractor OCR, there should have any problem.
Step 1. Download Table Extractor OCR
- Here I will take the Windows version for example. Please make sure that you download the right version or else you can not use it. There are two versions: Mac and Windows.
- This software has user interface but you need to install it. Once downloading finishes, there will be an exe in the download package. Please install this software by double clicking it and following installation message.
- Once installation finishes, there will be an icon on the desktop. Simply click that icon then can launch this software.
Step 2. Convert tiff to Excel
- Open software and add tiff file to it. For easy understanding, please refer to the interface snapshot.
- Please add tif file to software interface by dragging or click button Open. Please enlarge the tiff file as big as possible. Click rectangle icon to draw the area where you need to be extracted. Then draw lines by clicking button next to rectangle icon. Make sure to draw lines to separate rows.
- And please choose language according to your tiff content. If your tiff content is English, please set OCR language as English.
- Click button OCR to run the conversion. A few seconds later, the recognized result will be shown in the following part. Here you can correct them if you find something wrong.
- If you feel the result is good, please click button Save to set output format as Excel.
Note:The resolution of tiff file is highly effect the recognized effect. If the resolution is quiet low, the output effect will be a little bad. But when meet this kind of tiff file, you can fix it manually. Please click little arrow button next to OCR, there are some options to adjust image quality for better recognizing effect.
