Question: Just received an interactive PDF from an company and when I open it (in Acrobat) there is non of the usual toolbars or scroll bars that usually show around a PDF. What settings can I change so interactive PDF I make open cleanly like this.

Step 1. Install Advanced PDF Tools
- There are two versions of this software: GUI version and command line version. Here I will take the GUI version for examples. So you need to install it first.

Step 2. Change PDF Open Action.
- When you open software interface, please click button Open to add PDF files needed changing open actions to software interface by clicking button Open.
- Then please go to tab of Open Action which looks like I showed in the above snapshot. Here you can specify the start page, open magnification, change PDF page layout, show bookmark, thumbnails and others.
- In the User interface option part, you can choose hide toolbar, menu bar, Windows control. In the Windows option part, we can resize Window to initial page, center Windows on screen and display document title.
- When you finish setting part, please click button Change then you will be reminded to choose output folder to save the output PDF file. A few seconds later, the changed open action PDF file will be shown in the specified output folder.
By this way, we can change PDF open actions in batch. Then when you open PDF file, you can open cleanly.
