Thanks for your message, you can try to delete the old monitor item and add a new one, will you work fine by delete-then-add method in monitor dialog?

I did delete the monitor item and create a new one and it does the same thing. Tried to restart the computer and redid the process again: same thing...

I can change the "monitor folder" on your system without any problem, please refer to attached screenshot.

In general, you should set the different folders for input and output folders, please don't set the input and output folders to same folder, once you set correct input and output folders, Image2PDF will monitor all files in the input folder, convert them to PDF files and move the converted PDF files to output folder automatically.

If you still can't get it work, please feel free to let me know, I will assist you continue.

Hi,

I can change the destination folder also but the software doesn't save the changes... I did change the destination folder to PDF this morning and when I opened the software this afternoon, the monitor and output folder was the same again.

Can I stop the software from adding .bak at the end of the filename when it change a jpeg to PDF?

Please run Image2PDF with administrator privilege, this problem will be solved, because administrator privilege has read/write privilege to the installation folder.

You can choose "Delete original image file(s) after conversion" option, Image2PDF will delete original image files automatically instead of append .bat to the original filenames.
