How can I call PDF to Text Converter from Windows Service to convert PDF files to Text files?

I was hoping you could help me to troubleshoot a problem I am having with VeryPDF PDF2TXT V3.2 when run from a service. Is there any type of debug information that I can have it write to a log file when run?

The issue is that VeryPDF PDF2TXT is hanging when run from a service on a Windows 2008 Server. I can see the process in Task Manager, which remains there indefinitely until manually killed. When VeryPDF PDF2TXT is run in a windows session on the server it works fine. The command line I am using is as follows:

e:\programs\mie\apps\VeryPDF2TXT\pdf2txt.exe "e:\data\mie\training\generic\source\2014-05-18-02-00-50ChartMaxxIO.pdf" "e:\data\mie\training\generic\hold\2014-05-18-02-00-50ChartMaxxIO.pdf.txt" -format -unicode -breaker

There are other Windows 2008 servers where the VeryPDF PDF2TXT is being run from a service and there are no issues. I need to find out why this particular server is having issues. Any help you can provide would be greatly appreciated.

Below are two screen shots: 1) the Task Manager showing the hung process and 2) the Operating System details.

Thanks,

Thanks for your message, VeryPDF PDF2TXT V3.2 is a Windows GUI application, it can't be called from a Windows Service, because VeryPDF PDF2TXT V3.2 will create a Windows dialog, this dialog will hang when you run it from a Windows Service.

In order to solve this problem, we suggest you may use "PDF to Text OCR Converter Command Line" to instead of VeryPDF PDF2TXT V3.2 application, "PDF to Text OCR Converter Command Line" is pure DOS Command Line application, it can be called from Windows Service without any restrictions,
